Whitehouse coach Bronson Clemens said in an interview that he told his players to be patient and hit good pitches when they were behind. That mindset helped his team bat around in that 11 run 2nd inning. That rally turned the tide and was the difference in this key contest.

With the loss, Westside faces Evangel Temple "IAM" in the Tournament Semi-final game. Loser of that game will finish 3rd overall while the winner faces Whitehouse in the Championship Game.
