Front of The Line "Door Busters" Camp out for Days at Best Buy
Looks Crazy two days before Black Friday
Looks smart on Black Friday
What would it take to save hundreds or maybe even thousands on your shopping needs? According to the American Consumer
Credit Council, the average American spends $935 on Christmas each year alone.
Dumpster Diving, Shopping Garage
Sales or at Goodwill might save you same dough but would only net you some used items. That route is a lame really and
time consuming to say the least.
But by shopping at Best Buy on Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving in case you've
inhabiting another planet) you can get some really cool stuff at sometimes over 50% off. How about a HD 42" flat
screen TV for 200 bucks? Maybe $1000 off a washer and dryer? All kinds of deals on Electronics, Cameras Phones, Wingdings
and Gizmos. Deals on NEW stuff.
There is a catch however. Limited supply. You gotta get there early or the best deals
will be gone.
In the past, Best Buy and other such Retailers would offer these type deals and open the doors and let the crazies
in. They would rush mob the place, push and claw their way to the desired discounted item. Sometimes shoppers had to
wrestle for things or it went to fisticuffs. In other words, insanity ruled the day. Injuries & BenHur category
spectacle. Some people even trampled to death. Now this is great for youtube. Great for lawyers but Bad for retailers, many
who were facing lawsuits. Something had to be done.
Best Buy and other retailers cooked up a plan. The shoppers who
were foaming at the mouth for bargains would form an orderly line outside the stores. Store representatives would come outside
before the store opened and identify the shoppers order and give those shoppers a chit for the items they wanted at the super
discounted prices. In limited supplies of course...simply Brilliant!
At Best Buy the deals were offered that were insane. Not only that, to get the best deals you would have to get
in line DAYS in advance. Tent cities began popping up in front of Best Buys around the country. People saw this and went "Holy
Cow, these people are either crazy or else there are some crazy deals down there." Either way It was NEWS. TV stations,
youtube and newspapers covered the events.
Pretty soon crowds began to form and over time this spun out of control.
But in a more orderly way.
So... what does it take to be #1 in line at Best Buy. We at aaaglobalservices, sent Pipecleaner
